I want to take you into the blue world
It feels like being underwater
after a long sleep with the mushrooms
we swim through wet spring air
the fertile dancefloor
Flower stalks and buds swing upwards
filled with anticipation
Let yourself be tickled by all these little legs,
by floating strands of silk and droplets
Barely born and already lived in
a crab spider swooshes down on the scene
a beetle crawls up a stalk
and a glowworm wanders off
beneath the chamomile, and rosebay willowherb
A mother spider holds on to her egg sac
that is about to burst open.
We stand quietly in front of them,
before flower buds burst open, too.
A light blue dream of spring, and all the little signs that tell us that everything is about to bloom, hatch, and come to life
